Windows 2012R2 server infra only monitoring

Dear all,

Is there a way to monitor windows 2012R2 server in infra onyl mode? I know that the oneagent version is not supported anymore so I was thinking about is there some extension or anything to achieve this goal?

Hi,

If OneAgent is not an option, I would explore:

• WMI extensions 
• SNMP extensions 
• Metrics API v2 

Maybe those protocols would allow you for setting some metrics.

And if you need logs, Log Monitoring API - POST ingest logs

While it might not be supported - documentation wise - it very well might still be able to be monitored. Have you tried Full Stack or Infra mode yet? If that fails you can always leverage what Anton mentioned: https://www.dynatrace.com/hub/detail/remote-windows-host-monitoring/

Windows 2012 R2 (OS Module) will be supported by OneAgent starting v1.307
