You might want to check if it's not being used at the moment. Most probably, it will not, since the last unsupported is 1.167.

In any case, your point is a valid one, and I don't know how to get back. Additionally, it was told to me that there was no way to find out which beacon version is being used, but I would suspect that if you are using anything newer than 1.167, it probably will be in the new beacon protocol
