We had an issue recently and we were not able to see all the processes of many of our hosts and some of them appear in gray and cannot access any services. This happens intermittently. There have not been any deployment changes, shut down, or configuration issues.

I'm not sure why this would be happening, but it seems to me like a UI bug. This would be a good candidate for a Dynatrace Support case.
