Hi,
I saw the blog post about Cookie opt-in mode and wondered if there was a way to implement an opt-out? Say a user decides to opt-in and then they want to undo their action.
I didn't see any dtrum.disable() but I assume it would be possible to delete all Dynatrace cookies and their backups in session storage since Dynatrace would not automatically recreate them with "Cookie opt-in mode" enabled. Does this stop the collection of RUM data for the current session though? Or is there any "more official" way of disabling RUM for a specific user from the client side?
best regards
Franz

Hey Franz,
There will be a dtrum.disable() method available soon within the product, however, I unfortunately don't have any exact timelines.
Thanks,
Josh

According to this post this feature should be available now but, still, dtrum.disable() throws an error.
Any idea?

Hi Juan,
Can you please ensure that you are using v144 of the agent? The dtrum.disable() function is available within this version as explained within this blog post.
Thanks,
Josh
