iOS instrumentation makes app crash ?

Hi,

Our devs are telling us that they are receiving a lot of reports of crashes that happen at app launch.
According to their tests, the Dynatrace instrumentation (made following the wizard) is instancing millions of objects and the OS kills the app because of the memory usage.

 

Does anyone had a similar case and/or is there guidelines or configuration tips in order to avoid this issue ?

Hi!
For troubleshooting such an issue it would be best to contact Dynatrace Support and provide the crash reports +symbol files of your app so we can have a look at it.

We have contacted our CSM and a support ticket has been opened.
I posted here to cover all the knowledge sources.

Maybe someone encountered a similar problem and/or can share, guidelines or best practices in implementing Dynatrace SDK for iOS in order to avoid that.
