What are the most important benefits of NAM?

I could think of several functional and the most important advantages:

• Simplified management, with a single test covering multiple hosts/devices (Target filter concept) 

• Powerful API allowing quick deployment of a large number of NAM tests 

• Customizable pings (number of packets, packet’s size)  

• Direct integration with Dynatrace Problems (and alerting) 

• Support for the Maintenance windows. 

• Significantly higher number of ping tests executed from single AG – reducing infrastructure costs on the customer side   

Additionally, what is worth mentioning is that NAM monitors are charged with the number of ingested data points. That makes them significantly more attractive compared to this extension.
