Customers see that the disk utilization was below the threshold, however, Dynatrace didn't trigger problems for the low disk space.
Host/Global setting for anomaly detection was enabled and Disk was below the threshold.
Please check if Custom disk-detection rules are configured and enabled.
The custom detection Rule Overrides the global anomaly detection rule and sets the disc detection and threshold on them.
If this Custom disk-detection is DISABLED then it will stop the monitoring of those detected disks for anomaly detection and the problem will not trigger.
The solution is to either remove the disk from the Custom disk-detection rule OR delete the Rule if not required
Been there, will do that!!
This is confusing, since the disable button is not clear, if we are disabling the custom rule, or if we are disabling the configured disk monitoring...
I have also checked with Support chat, and they told me the disabled rules should not impact the native monitoring... as lost as I am 😅
Hi,
If we create a global custom rule, can we override it from host perspective? I cannot find that option in the UI, only in global settings or host groups settings.
Best regards
