There are situations where you received a problem card with incorrect tags, and you're trying to figure out why. This is because Tags and Management Zones are added to a problem card during its lifecycle. This means that if the affected entity is part of a management zone or it contains a tag, it will be added to the problem card.

Tags are in a problem card because they existed in the affected entity at some point during the lifetime of the problem. To check why this is happening, we can do the following:
Check the Tagging / Management Zone Rules: This setting indicates that the affected entity inherits the Tag or Management Zone rules from another entity. You may turn this off and disable the propagation by following these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Preferences > Management Zones
2. Select the appropriate Management zone rule
3. Verify if the following settings are turned on
4. Turn off these settings and disable the propagation.
Tip of the day: As best practice, you should create a rule for each entity type to avoid unnecessary information added to your entity.
Check the dimensional rules: If the problem is Metric-Based Event, it is possible that there are dimensional rules that is adding the metric to the management zone, hence, adding tags or management zones to the problem card.
