In Dynatrace terminology, a host is a physical or virtual server or cloud instance running an operating system. Dynatrace can monitor all hosts in your environment with the Dynatrace OneAgent installed.
The OneAgent collects performance and event-related information from the host and sends it to Dynatrace. This information is used to monitor the health and performance of the host, as well as to troubleshoot problems.
