ALERT: Dynatrace beginner here.
Anomaly detection contains monitoring host based metrics and triggering email alerts, but I want to monitor a specific process's metrics(For e.g., process cpu usage), and trigger an email alert when the metric goes beyond the defined threshold. Is there a way to do this?

Hi @Mik
You can use the Metric Event for this purpose. There you indicate a specific metric (also for the process) and set thresholds. You then connect such an event to the Alerting Profile.

Hi @Mik
Additional to @radek_jasinski 's mention, if you are using a SaaS tenant, you can try to use Workflows to evaluate every day/week/month or specific hours when the alert should be raised and then integrate it with MS teams or Slack tool collaboration.

@Mik,
Consider tagging the Process Group, and creating an alert profile for it. It will not go to the detail of each metric, but you'll benefit at several other levels from the Dynatrace AI.
