Transaction storage limit

Hi all.

How can I know what is the limit for transaction storage?

Is there a way to calculate this limit?

I am receiving this message very often, and I think it is because I have no limit:

thanks in advanced.

Hi,

Transaction storage keeps the most granular monitored data - mainly pure paths, but also details on Synthetic monitors or user's visits.

You can control transaction storage size with many triggers:

- Service request level retention time

- Service code level retention time

- Number of monitored entities - transactions, hosts etc.

It's hard to estimate how much storage is needed, as it depends on many aspects. If you see "data truncation alerts" I recommend adding more storage, or if not possible - lowering retention times.

Thank you @Radoslaw S. very much for reply.

To reduce retention periods, do you mean these 2 values?

best regards

Jose A

Correct. These 2 are major triggers that impact transaction storage size.
