Azure Virtual Desktop metrics

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with ingesting metrics of Azure Virtual Desktop (Dynatrace SaaS/Managed)? Can we use the integration with Azure Monitor? If so, how?

Or is Azure Virtual Desktop a topic on the Dynatrace Roadmap?

I have not heard any official integration with Azure Virtual desktop. Have you tried to add in the Azure subscription(s) that these VDs reside on? Maybe a Dynatrace Support rep can provide some clarity on the monitoring possibilities for Azure VD

@sebastiaan_holl We have a customer using Azure Virtual Desktops and they are monitoring those WVD with OneAgent in infra-mode with additional ingested metrics from powershell script to get overview of CPU usage per logger user, etc. There are no out-of-box integrations as Chad mentions.

Chad and Julius thanks for sharing your ideas.! Those 2 scenario were already on our table, but I wanted to be sure that there are no other options to be considered or maybe even be better.

Any roadmap that Dynatrace will build an extension like Citrix for W365 or AVD?
