Did you mean:

Pass the Network Zone and Host-Group as parameter, using Azure via UI

Azure-Extension is amazing, I can use it to monitor Azure VMSS and the Azure App Service.

However, it seems like to pass Network Zone and/or Host Group we need to use Azure-Extension via Azure CLI or via PowerShell is it? (or maybe ARM or Kudu REST API)

Is there any way or workaround to pass these parameters by just Azure-Extension via the UI? Thanks.

Best Regards,

@waikeat_chan did you have any luck with this? did you find a work around or a solution?

Hey Chad,

Nope, the UI doesn't seems to allow any flexibility.

By the way, you can follow this post of mine here: https://community.dynatrace.com/t5/REST-API/Ability-to-pass-all-parameters-during-installation-when-...

The closet thing that comes as a workaround/creative-solution (or thing that isn't documented in DT documentation) so far is this flag called 'installerArguments' , provided by DT-chat when my colleague try to ask for help.

But even this flag can only be use with Non-UI way.
