Median metric not supported in Multidimensional analysis?

In MDA, if I try to create a metric of service response time median values, I get the message below, that I cannot create a metric. It does support averages.

Given that Dynatrace favors medians, it's surprising I cannot create such a metric. Or am I seeing something wrong?

I think it's a constraint because no aggregation works except the average.

Bringing this issue back to life.... March 2024 and still cant use Median
