Accessing Dynatrace managed audit logs

Simply:

  1. Access Dynatrace platform through admin account with cluster admin permissions.
  2. Home > Audit Logs.
  3. You can review logs either for specific environment or the cluster.

Hi, is there a way to retreive the events older than 30 days ?

Hi @JMBMinint

For Dynatrace Managed, you can go back to 60 days for the audit logs in the CMC as per @Peter_Youssef original post: simply select 'last 60 days' from the dropdown.

For audit logs via API, it is stored for 30 days only, no way to retrieve older logs.
If you need to retain them for longer periods, I would export it every 30 days to e.g., Excel or PowerBI.

If you're asking about the Events, you can select 90 days from the drop down or specify a timeframe e.g., -180d but I'm not sure how long the event data is actually stored for...events log does not equal audit logs.

Hi Andre,

Thanks for your answer ! So no hidden conf on the server to increase these 60 days ? 🙂
