Hello,

On the web page:

https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/manage/data-privacy-and-security/configuration/configure-glob...

I ind this uri example as being masked data:

/account/iban('123456678890') changes to /account/iban('<masked>')

Spoiler
Should this not be:

/account/iban%28%271234567890%27%29

KR Henk

is this not a wrong URI using ()' characters?

Hi @henk_stobbe

this feature is regarding data masking not URL encoding.

This is expected to mask sensitive data such as (in this case) the IBAN number in the URI.

BR,
Mark

Hi Mark,

No discussion there, but the remark was about the documentation using the decoded url, and in my opinion an encoded whould be consistant,

Thanks for your response,

KR Henk
