Events is a broad and generic category. Basically, everything that is not a log line, metric, span or bizevent is an event.
We're continuously adding new types of events. Some are a sub-type of "Events" others are represented as a data type of their own, it depends on the use cases and customer needs (e.g. Application Security; Digital Experience: RUM, Session Replay, Synthetic; or Davis events).
