Is there a way to export session replay?

Hi,

Some users would like to be able to attach session replay to issues in JIRA, is there an official method to export the replay ?

Hello @aymeric ,

the is no way to export them. Playback is possible in Dyntarace UI only. The recommended way is to put the link to the session replay directly in the Jira ticket. If you have the replay screen for the session opened, just copy the URL from the browser. The user clicking on the link needs permissions to access and replay the session.

That's what I thought (but was hoping for an unexpected workaround ^^).

The workaround is only to use a screen recording tool of your choice and record the session replay in Dynatrace UI.

@aymeric we do not plan to offer exporting of the session replay and the suggested usage is to link the SR within Jira. We are considering though giving the option for extended data storage. Cannot share timeline though.
