If you linked an existing Dynatrace environment to your Azure subscription, and you’re not the Dynatrace account owner of that environment, the account owner needs to assign you SSO permissions in the respective Dynatrace environment so that you can enable SSO for that Dynatrace environment in Azure.
To assign SSO permissions in Dynatrace, there are two options:
- Assign a user to the Account manager group
- Add View and manage users and groups permission to a group
See below for instructions on each of these options.
Option 1: Assign a user to the group
- To assign an existing user to the Account manager group:
- In the user menu, go to Account settings.
Shortcut: go to https://myaccount.dynatrace.com
- Select Accounts, then select your account tile.
- Select Identity & access management > People.
- Filter for the user and then select Edit user in the Actions column.
- In the Groups section, select the Account manager group and then select Next.
- Select Save.
