Ho, ho, ho, welcome for the last time this year! 🎄🎆
Many of you are likely in the period of life when in the every year's end you're asking yourself "Really, this year is already over?! I barely realized the previous one is gone!". Yep, this moment hits us once again. We've entered December for good, preparing for the end of 2021 even though the memories of the strangest year ever - 2020 - still live in our minds 🤔
But before we start celebrating Christmas and opening champagne bottles a week later to welcome 2022, take a look what interesting happened in the recent 30 days. Dynatrace Community as always is full of life and inspiring ideas! 💥
Dynatrace Community highlights
As always, we've introduced another pack of essential improvements to the Dynatrace Community forums:
👉 Now user-defined labels are limited only to selected subforums only.
👉 Labels are now sorted in the new, better and more helpful order. We've merged the duplicates, corrected the typos, and reduced the number of other issues that can lead you away from solution you're looking for.
👉 And another novelty, the most important. As promised in October, we've implemented the first significant mobile-view improvements. When you use your smartphone, now the display of numerous layout elements like icons, listings or buttons is more compact and better adjusted to the screen width. This is only a beginning of changes!

This time the main theme of Dynatrace Community challenge was focused on our closest friends. We encouraged to share pictures of beloved pets, giving even some exception for those who instead of animals are taking care of their little kids. Take a look at the results of the "Fauna Challenge"!

🕘 What's coming soon?
The beginning of the new year is always a great opportunity to have some plans. We're taking them seriously in long-term perspective, already having some main goals on the agenda prepared. Take a look what's going to appear throughout Dynatrace Community forum! 🔜
👉 Q&A cleanup
In November, we've started implementing our long-term strategy to reduce the number of Q&A forum threads without accepted solutions. After doing so with the RUM subforum, now we're taking a deep look into the other forums. Why? To make Dynatrace Community even more helpful!
👉 Other mobile-view improvements
As we've mentioned above, the implementation of mobile-view improvements is only in the starting phase. After a few novelties to mobile devices users, we're carrying on with other interface changes to make forum even more comfortable to browse and use.
👉 Christmas meeting with DynaMights!
After the first successful Zoom meeting with our DynaMights which took place in November, we're going to see each other's faces once again in the special call occurring right ahead of Christmas. Different timezones, huge distances? It's not an obstacle!
