Welcome to the Dynatrace Community!
This is a place where you’ll find the answers you are looking for and meet other users and Dynatrace experts. Ask questions, vote for product ideas, suggest new features, share tips and tricks, participate in challenges, share feedback, and most importantly -- have fun!
Below you’ll find some useful tips on how to start your adventure with the biggest Software Intelligence Community in the world
Learn the Community basics
Except for asking questions about product features and configurations, our forum offers wide functionality. We recommend getting yourself familiar with the Community User Guide, especially articles about Product Ideas, Feedback Channels and User Groups.
And if you have a more specific question about how the forum works, check out the FAQ, or go ahead and ask a question on the Community discussions forum. One of our Moderators will come back with an answer for you as soon as possible
Update your profile & set notifications
Once you're registered with the Community, you'll be asked to create a username. It doesn't have to be your real name, only requirements for it are to not include anything offensive and be less than 15 characters long.
Once you have it, set up a profile picture, add a few words to the About section, and add a signature so other users could recognise you from the start 😎
Also remember to check notification options so to never miss interesting content!
Find content of your interest
Our Community has dozens of thousands of questions, ideas, and other types of content, and we know at first navigating through it can be a bit overwhelming. There are two main ways to go about it - either by using the search bar or the top navigation menu.

Ask, reply and accept solutions
You can ask a question directly from the main page, or from any of our sub-forums. Just look for an “Ask the question” button. The same goes for the product ideas:
Before posting, make sure it’s located in the correct sub-forum and labeled accordingly, so experts on that exact topic had a chance to stumble upon it and help you solve your issue.
In order to comment on the other’s question or idea look for a comment window below the original post:
If there’s an answer to a questions that seems to be solving the problem wholly, remember to accept it as the solution! It will let other users facing the same issue know that there’s already an exhaustive answer, but also show the commenter your appreciation.
Questions with an accepted solution are marked accordingly:

Like, vote and follow
Remember to say thank you to the author that provided a helpful reply or posted a product idea you’d love to see developed one day. You can do it by giving kudos (in case of posts) or voting (for the ideas). A simple “thumb up” goes a long way, as they say 👍
You can also follow labels, sub-forums, and particular posts, so this way you won’t miss any content you’re interested in:
